Hot Local Knights Winners
A round of applause goes out to the victors of The Venue’s battle of the bands. The first place prize of $1,000 cash went to Nampa’s In the Pause, followed by 2nd place purveyors of fun Stop Drop and Party who won a $500 recording package with Speck Studio. 3rd place winners Threshold acquired a $450 merchandise package from Defined Productions.
According to promoter and Hot Local Knights coordinator Jaclyn Brandt, “Scores were based on ticket sales, votes (and their votes from the semi-finals carried over) and then we had judges judging in 4 categories, which were marketability, professionalism, crowd interaction and songwriting/technical ability.”
